Before shooting for clients such as Nike, Google, Mastercard, and L’Oréal Paris, Cory found his passion for filmmaking in kindergarten. Interviewing the local librarian, police officers and firefighters he created a documentary about the history of his town for a class project. Edited entirely in camera, it was a bare bones affair, but it served as the foundation of what would become a lifetime of visual storytelling. Since graduating the School of Visual Arts with a BFA in Film & Video, Cory has worked his way up the camera department on feature films, commercials, and television. He has worked as a Camera Operator on over 100 episodes of TV, apprenticing under several masterful Directors of Photography along the way. It is during this time he crafted his own unique style. With an eye for strong compositions, observant camera work, and a minimalist approach to lighting, Cory creates powerful and emotive images that immerse the viewer into the depth of the story unfolding.
